The first page of six pages of the Beltane portion of my Illustrated Book of Shadows. [link]
The border is in the style of William Morris. It was first drawn as a graphite contour line drawing then inked in with a .30 technical pen. It was then scanned and brought into Photoshop CS 5-extended where the ink drawing was converted to light green and then printed out 16 x 16". The leaves and vines work were drawn using color pencils. This was rescanned and opened in Photoshop. The strawberries and blossoms were also drawn with color pencil which were also scanned and placed individually on top the leaf border. The page was composed in Photoshop using Papyrus an Adobe font, with the drop Letter "B" from The Dover art publications the headline type is is called Church Text. The outside and inside borders that surround the strawberry border are also from Dover. The background is scanned parchment. Sources of text are given on the page.

It is from and excellent book of gothic and old english alphabets by Dan X. Solo, a Dover publication. The type is called Church Text. Thank you for the encouragement.
